Associate Member


A person who has attained the full age of 19 years, who has followed the prescribed procedure and has been accepted by the Executive Committee.


An Associate member shall not vote, hold office, chair any committee, have moorage, or acquire seniority with respective to moorage and shall have no interest in any property of the club. They shall be entitled to attend all General Meetings and enjoy all facilities and functions at the Club, with the exception of access to Reciprocal Clubs and Outstations.


Associate Member parking at the Club is restricted. A differently coloured Parking Pass will be issued for parking from 0700 to 2300 hours.There is no overnight parking permitted.


If an Associate Member decides become a Regular Member their fee already paid will be credited towards the Regular Membership Fee.

Regular Member


A member who has paid the prescribed fees based on the age of the person applying for membership and has been accepted as a member by the Executive Committee.

  • 19 to 25 years:  $1,000.00
  • 26 to 40 years:  $1,500.00
  • 41 plus years:  $2,000.00


Members must reside within the area defined as Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands in British Columbia.


A regular member does not hold permanent moorage.


Regular Membership Fees can be spread over 2 years.

Junior Member


A person from age eight years to eighteen years inclusive who has paid the prescribed fee, followed the prescribed procedure of sponsorship and responsibility and has been accepted by the Executive committee.


A Junior member shall be entitled to all the privileges of the Club but shall not vote or hold office, and shall have no interest in any property of the club.


Upon reaching the age of nineteen years a Junior member may become a regular member if the prescribed conditions are met. A Junior member shall not earn moorage seniority.
