Spring Series Day 2 - March 6

It was all sunshine and rainbows, except when it was blowing 20 and pouring buckets. The first race had SE winds of 15-20 with a course start at Power Squadron Reef to a windward mark Snake Bell, P15 and finish.

The second race saw a steady wind in the low 20's at the start and the fleet was again sent off to the windward mark then Snake Bell, back to the windward mark, Five Fingers, and finish. Between the windward mark and Five Fingers the wind dropped and heavy rain came in, followed by a brilliant rainbow. Just enough wind hung in for boats to finish within the time limit, and head back to the dock to wring out all the gear.

DILLIGAF was first across the line in both races, and everyone was all smiles at the bar.

Spring Series Day 4 - April 3

An interesting day on the water to say the least.   With consistent winds from the South East and no rain it was a beautiful day for sailing.    The first race had a bit of confusion as all the boats were gearing into a different start location and a reversed starting order to try to tightened the finish times.    Once the bugs were iron out, the next two races went without a hitch.   Race committee promises not to anything like that again for about a year.
