Important Information For Online Registration

Please Read Below Carefully Before Proceeding to Online Registration


REGISTRATION INFORMATION

All registration for Nanaimo Yacht Club Sailing Programs will be online. Once you’ve created your online profile, you can register a participant for multiple camps OR register a group of friends for a single camp. Your profile will be stored, making it easy to return to register for additional camps a few weeks later or even next year, tracking the stored information into the appropriate fields for you! All you’ll need to do is click on the programs you’d like to register for and pay for the items in your shopping cart! Once you have paid, you will receive a confirmation email with a receipt that may be used for the Children’s Fitness Tax Credit if applicable.

A few other important notes:

  1. Nanaimo Yacht Club Member priority registration Opens on February 15
    (Early Bird Registration Applies)
  2. Public Registration Opens March 6 (Early Bird Registration Applies)
  3. Early Bird Registration CLOSES at midnight on May 15. No exceptions will be made as registration is done through a 3rd party registration site so REGISTER EARLY!
  4. Payments may be made through credit cards. Please contact us for other payment requests.
  5. Nanaimo Yacht Club reserves the right to reassign sailors at the discretion of the Sailing Program Coordinator.
  6. If the camp or program you want is full, please contact us at 250.754.7011 or nycsailtraining@gmail.com and we will put you on a wait list!


STEPS FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION

  1. See our brochure (coming soon) and choose your course
  2. Use the "Online Registration" link on this page
  3. Create an account on the "esportsdesk" site
  4. From your email, retrieve the temporary password just sent from ESPORTdesk
  5. Enter the temporary password and create a profile for yourself (you can also change your password here)
  6. Add your family members (they do not need individual email addresses—leave field blank)
  7. Complete "online registration" as prompted and then choose CHECKOUT
  8. Enter credit card EXACTLY as the BANK has it recorded.
  9. Go to your email to retrieve confirmation, receipt and details on your course(s)
  10. Enjoy your sailing course!

 

Cancellation and Enrollment Policy

A cancellation fee of $50 (plus applicable credit card transaction fees) will be charged on ALL cancelled registrations. No refunds for cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the start of a course. All courses subject to a minimum enrollment. If placed on a waitlist, interest in enrollment is assumed. Should a vacancy arise, automatic enrollment in the course will take place and the cancellation and enrollment policy takes effect.
